Apply as an international student through Clearing

The deadline to apply for a course starting in September 2025 has now passed for some international applicants as there is insufficient time for us to complete our qualification and CAS checks, as well as for you to apply for and secure a student visa.

This means that applicants from countries not listed under the UKVI differential evidence requirement list can no longer apply for September 2025 entry. If you’re interested in joining us in 2026, please check our course finder to see what you could study.

You can still apply to Brighton for this September if:

  • You are currently living in the UK and are eligible to make a new student visa application from within the UK, or
  • You are applying from a country that is included by UKVI on their differential evidence requirement list, or
  • You are awaiting qualification results that are not available until August (such as A levels).

If you are still eligible to apply through Clearing, below you will find guidance on how to complete the online application form.

If you are eligible, apply online now

Guidance on completing the online application form

Please watch our video that talks you through the application process and how to complete the online application form.

You will need to have copies of your qualification certificates and transcripts (including for any English language qualifications), an academic reference and a personal statement ready to upload before you apply.

Please be as specific and as detailed as possible about your qualifications on the application form. You will need to provide your English language qualification, specifying the date it was achieved, the total score and the component scores (eg IELTS, TOEFL).

Any incomplete applications, or applications including conditional results, will be rejected.
